Fusion CX IPO Puts Kolkata's AI-Enabled Service Firm On The Market Clock
Fusion CX's public issue opens on October 14 with proceeds planned for debt reduction, technology upgrades and acquisitions.

Fusion CX's IPO gives India's public markets a different kind of technology story: not a consumer app or a pure software platform, but a customer-experience services company trying to show that AI can deepen an operating business.

The Kolkata-headquartered company is set to open its Rs 702 crore initial public offering on October 14. The price band has been fixed at Rs 275 to Rs 289 per share, with the issue scheduled to close on October 16 and listing expected on the BSE and NSE.

The offer combines a fresh issue of Rs 500 crore with an offer for sale of Rs 202 crore by promoter entities. The company plans to use part of the fresh proceeds to repay debt, invest in step-down subsidiaries Omind Technologies and Omind Technologies Inc for IT-tool upgrades, pursue acquisitions and fund general corporate purposes.

Fusion CX was incorporated in 2004 and was founded by Pankaj Dhanuka and Kishore Saraogi. It provides customer-experience and business-process services across voice, email, chat, social media and messaging, while also building AI-powered tools for customer engagement, automation and data infrastructure.

The scale is material. Recent IPO coverage listed 40 delivery centres across 13 countries, with clients across telecom, high-tech, travel, banking and financial services, retail and healthcare. The company reported strong FY26 profit and revenue growth, though public-market investors will test how much of that is durable.

The central question is whether Fusion CX can turn AI from a cost threat into a margin tool. Customer-service outsourcing faces pricing pressure, automation risk, wage inflation and client concentration. At the same time, AI tools can improve routing, quality monitoring, agent support and multilingual service if they are integrated well.

That makes the IPO a market-clock moment. Investors are being asked to price a company that sits between traditional BPO and AI-enabled enterprise services. Fusion CX will need to prove that its technology upgrades improve retention and profitability, not just presentation. The listing will show how much room public markets are willing to give service companies that can credibly modernise with AI.
